a series of drawings as a complete translation
of herman hesse's book 'wandering'.each piece is comprised of a series
of similar lines involving 26 different colors of green. each color corresponds
to a letter of the alphabet, and thus the text is 'read' as a kind of
score or set of instructions for placing the lines on the page in a specifiic
order. of course, the composition of the lines is intuitive, but the number
of lines and the colors are based upon this chance operation, allowing
for one of the slowest possible reading experiences. some chapters are
divided into a drawing for every page, some a drawing for every paragraph.
the book is a series of prose and poetry about wandering through landscape.
